Dear customer,

We kindly inform you that as of 24 January 2022, AKEP Regulations have been amended and therefore, introduce as follows:

1. The customer is currently allowed to register a number of unlimited .AL domain names for individual or business use whereas accurate information is entered to register the domain name.

2. In compliance with Regulation no. 2, Art. 7 (1), dated 21.02.2008 on “Registration and Administration of .AL domain names” (amended), any registered domain name needs to be put In Use within one year from the registration date. Please kindly note that if you do NOT put the domain name In Use within this period, the domain name will be publicly available for registration. That stipulates that you will not be permitted to manage the domain name if you have not put it In Use within one year. Therefore, the domain name will be available for other customers.
